November 17, 2015

The folks at We Are Teachers have released new animal preservation lesson plans, printables and teaching resources.  These totally free teaching tools are great choices. You can combine high interest topics with informational text, social studies, and science instruction.  Before leaving the classroom to focus on professional development trainings and writing about education technology, I taught in a magnet school for environmental stewardship.  I know how these powerful topics resonate with young learners and it’s always nice to find resources like these to share with teachers.
