K-12 Enrichment Programs for STEM, Arts and Sports

Do you have after-school and summer camp programs in your community? Today on the blog, I’m excited to share a new K-12 enrichment program for STEM, arts, and sports launching this year. It’s called Brains & Motion Education (BAM!), and they provide students with year-round learning experiences through after-school programs, structured recess, and summer camps.

Supporting students with engaging learning experiences certainly goes beyond the school day. Whether you want to introduce a STEAM program to support aspiring poets, animators, or robotics engineers, or you want to give students access to a sports program, BAM! has you covered.

Let’s take a look at Brains & Motion Education (BAM!) and all that they offer!

K-12 Enrichment Programs

Brains & Motion Education (BAM!) is a tech-enabled company unlocking the potential of students year-round through a variety of programs. This includes after-school programming, structured recess, and summer camps with STEM, arts, and sports offerings. They are a nationwide provider of K-12 enrichment programs with a focus on whole-child development.

The goal of BAM! is to help students engage in learning experiences that help them strengthen social and emotional skills, confidence, and subject matter expertise. They have worked with over 1,000 schools and more than 90,000 students to provide engaging K-12 enrichment programs to sites across the country.

How do BAM!’s K-12 Enrichment Programs work?

Through a wide variety of hands-on, project-based activities, students participate in learning experiences designed to help them grow in all areas of their lives. In addition to after-school programs, BAM! is now offering a variety of summer camp programs for 2024.

The summer camp offerings include RoboKids, GameCraft, and MakersQuest. These summer learning opportunities give kids access to brand new career exploration curriculum and new interdisciplinary STEAM programs. On this page, you can also find a sample schedule of what a summer day looks like. With activities throughout the day and an option for extended care, kids will take part in a full day of learning and fun.

High-Quality Enrichment Programs

Enrichment programs for students aren’t a one-size-fits-all approach. Schools and districts can offer a variety of options for enrichment. This might include a mix of physical activity and inspirational hands-on learning experiences. And of course, they’ll want to make sure these opportunities are easy to implement and cost-effective.

BAM!’s adaptive STEAM curriculum is all about giving students an opportunity to engage with real-world challenges. Students can work on projects and ideas that connect them to the world. BAM!’s programming tailors to each student’s learning level. It starts by introducing concepts at a basic level to build a foundation of understanding, then develops into more active problem-solving and creation.

Getting Started with K-12 Enrichment Programs

It’s a bright spring day here on the East Coast, and as I’m writing this blog post, I can literally hear birds chirping from outside of my Jersey City window. If you also have summer on the mind, BAM! has you covered. Their summer programs combine STEAM education with sports and community building. Kids can take a deep dive into special topics like Artificial Intelligence (AI), machine learning, creative writing, game design, and more.

Brains & Motion Education (BAM!) currently has a presence in ten areas in the United States. You can find them in San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Chicago, Boston, Denver, Seattle, and more. They plan to scale their after-school, summer camp, and structured recess programs nationwide. Use this link to find a summer camp location near you!
