Summer Amazon Teacher Favorites

Whether you’ve packed up your classroom or still have a few more weeks of school left, summer is in sight! As May comes to an end this week, I wanted to share a few summer Amazon picks with you. I compiled a list of items that are perfect for your own summer professional learning, some fun gifts for fellow educators, and a few silly supplies that might make you smile.

Regular readers of the blog know that I love making curated lists of favorites. You may have seen one of my holiday gift guides or even this list I put together for Amazon Prime Day last year. Well, last year I set up an Amazon Influencer Storefront, and I just put together a list with all of the favorites you’ll see here in the blog post.

Amazon Teacher Favorites

You can head over to this page or click on any of the links below to grab these summer favorites. And of course, I’d love to hear what you would like added to the list! Leave a comment at the bottom of this blog post or tag me in any of your social sharing (@classtechtips on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook) with your favorites!

Math and Science Gift Ideas

For the science teachers in your life, you’ll want to check out these periodic table themed items. I chuckled when I first came across this I like to cook… periodically… cutting board with a full periodic table. And of course, this coffee mug spelling out “teacher” with different element symbols is super cute too.

Although your students might gravitate towards a digital clock to tell time, this analog version is perfect for math teachers. It presents the traditional twelve numbers on the clock in a new format your favorite math teacher might love too. This musical version of a conventional wall clock is another one to take a look at if you’re looking for a new spin on telling time.

Classroom Decor and Organization

Succulents are a great classroom plant, and these super cute owl pots are an excellent choice for a desk or window sill. If you’re not into owls, this trio of planters is also perfect for small plants too. You might decide to gift these planters with artificial succulents or the real thing.

When it comes to desk supplies, Amazon has lots of animal-shaped tape dispensers that are sure to bring a smile to your face. This otter tape dispenser is a fun choice, or you might be more inclined to choose this narwhal option. If post-its are more your thing, you might use this dinosaur sticky note holder as inspiration for a 3D-printing project with students.

Popsockets are a great end-of-school-year gift, and this one might be a fun choice for a guacamole-lover in your life. From hedgehogs to sloths, there are lots of popsocket options to explore, so if you are buying this as a gift, you’ll have plenty to choose from!

These Amazon teacher finds are perfect for your own summer professional learning, some fun gifts for fellow educators, and more!

Summer Books to Read and Gift

Now if you follow along on Instagram you know I’ve shared a bunch of favorite board books this year. So if you’re picking up a summer gift for a teacher who has been on maternity leave this year or is expecting a little one soon, here are a few favorites. The Little Scientist features scientists and their contributions, while Dream Big, Little One, shares the accomplishments of women across industries. I’m also a big fan of the I Look Up To series including this one featuring Ruth Bader Ginsburg and this one featuring Michelle Obama.

You might want to check out a few professional reads, and I’ve put together two lists on my Amazon Influencer Storefront page. In this list, I share books that I’ve featured on the blog, from interviews with authors to casual mentions. On this list, you can see some books I’ve read and recommend to friends, family, and followers.

Summer Travel Supplies

If you’re traveling this summer or looking for a gift idea for a teacher with travel plans, these packing cubes are a great choice. They come in a handful of different colors so you can decide if teal, lavender, or lime is your favorite. I received a collapsible water bottle like this one for Christmas this year, and it has become a travel favorite. If you’re more of a traditionalist, you might want to check out all of the different color Nalgene options you can choose from on Amazon too.

In addition to packing supplies, a passport holder is a fun gift for someone traveling internationally this summer. Whether it’s their first trip to a new country or they are a seasoned traveler, there are lots of passport holder options. For under ten dollars you can choose from lots of color options with this selection, or you can take a funnier spin with this cute passport holder.

And of course, if you or a teacher friend is headed to the beach this summer, there are some fun options to take along with you. Here’s a beach bag that outlines all the components of an awesome teacher, and another one with two color options. Or you might go with this customizable beach towel instead.

Amazon Teacher Picks

I can’t wait to see what you grab from this list of summer-themed teacher favorites. Whether you’re searching for the perfect gift for the end of the school year or looking to pick up something for yourself, I hope you’ve gotten a few new ideas from this list. Remember to share some of your own favorites in the comments or tag me on social media with links to your recommendations!
