New Webinar: Rules, Roles + Responsibilities for EdTech Integration

This month I’m hosting a special webinar for the folks at NetRef. It’s called “Rules, Roles + Responsibilities for EdTech Integration.”  This webinar takes place on Tuesday, July 25th at 3PM ET. It will provide a handful of actionable tips for EdTech integration. It’s totally free and you can register here.

Rules, Roles + Responsibilities for EdTech Integration Webinar

Here’s a full description of the webinar:

The new school year means new devices, new students and new opportunities to ensure research-driven technology integration in classrooms across your district.

Register for this free hour-long webinar to gain insight and ideas on how to create an infrastructure that supports the effective use of technology to improve teaching and learning.

Join Dr. Monica Burns as she shares:

  • an overview of best practices for technology integration
  • strategies and models to support staff members
  • device management structures and routines for schools
  • steps for developing a plan to leverage a variety of devices
  • actionable tips for integrating educational technology at the school level

The folks at NetRef will send a recording of the webinar out to anyone who registers. So if you’re not sure if you can make it for the live event on July 25th don’t worry. You can still sign up. Then you’ll get the video recording in your inbox.

If you haven’t heard of NetRef before, this tool lets teachers personalize Internet access for each student or their whole class. This means teachers can pick and choose which websites they would like students to stay on, and which they would like to stop them from accessing at a certain point in the day. NetRef also monitors website and app usage and reports individual, class or school data. This is great information to demonstrate how technology tools integrate into the school day and which resources are being used the most.  NetRef will work on any device and doesn’t require any downloads to individual devices which makes it really easy to use and manage, especially if you’re a 1:1 or BYOD school.
