Virtual Reality Lessons & Grant Application from Nearpod

When I visit schools to host workshops, one of my favorite tools to share with teachers is Nearpod. It’s a platform I used as a teacher in a one-to-one classroom and teachers I meet immediately see the power of this interactive tool. Nearpod has now added Virtual Reality Lessons to their engaging library. With Nearpod VR, students can experience the world through virtual field trips to faraway places.

There is a terrific video overview of Nearpod AR on their website and an exciting opportunity to bring this learning experience into your classroom. Nearpod is now taking applications for a special grant. It will help bring VR kits, lessons and trainings to your school. The application window is open until March 31, 2016 and you can visit their website to apply.
