Tips for Getting Started with Gemini Notebook in the Classroom

  • Gemini Notebook is the new name for NotebookLM, so update the language you use in PD sessions, district-approved tool lists, and conversations with colleagues.
  • Your existing notebooks, sources, and workflows carry over with the name change, so there is no need to start over or rebuild anything.
  • Use Gemini Notebook through an instructional planning lens: create content yourself, then share the output so students never have to log in to a new tool.
  • Hover over each Studio tool and click the small arrow to unlock customization options that take your creations from pretty good to excellent.
