An Invitation: Join Hello PLATO to Make Online Learning Personal

How can you make online learning more personal this school year? When I first connected with the team at Hello PLATO, I was curious to see just what they could do for teachers and students. Customizing online learning experiences to make it personal for students checks so many boxes. From gathering more robust information to recommending better resources for students, having a space for quick check-ins, lessons, and quizzes can transform online learning.

In today’s blog post, I’ll share Hello PLATO and what they have created for teachers and students.

Important note: Right now, Hello PLATO is looking for teachers to pilot their tool. Click here to learn more about the pilot.

Make Online Learning Accessible

Learn how you can make online learning more personal this school year by using Hello PLATO to customize learning experiences for students.

What is Hello PLATO? Hello PLATO empowers teachers to make online learning accessible and personal for all their students. I’m always on the lookout for tools that let you get started quickly and have a friendly user interface. If you haven’t seen it in action, Hello PLATO is a super easy tool for teachers to create rapid check-ins, lessons, and quizzes.

This platform delivers online lessons and quizzing that works for students without a connection to a wireless network. Since a WiFi connection isn’t necessary with Hello PLATO, students with low or no connectivity when they leave a school building will still access course content. When using a smartphone in the home, like an Apple or Android phone and mobile data, students can connect to Hello PLATO and connect to their classwork.

Although it won’t close the “homework gap” altogether, it can go a long way to supporting students who find it hard to connect with their teacher and classmates when they leave a school building.

Personalize Online Learning Experiences

Hello PLATO leverages a conversational learning format. Artificial intelligence (AI) guides the learning experience for students. It is student-friendly and provides a flexible learning experience for your classroom. The AI personalizes learning and provides a GPS for teachers, parents, and students related to student progress.

In the video above (and linked here), you can see Hello PLATO in action. You can jumpstart creation with the Hello PLATO “welcome basket” of sample lessons and quizzes. Just customize with your own materials and ideas, save, publish and go! With Hello PLATO, you have the power to build mini-lessons for your class or create an entire online learning curriculum with this simple tool.

Hello PLATO wants You!

Right now, the team at Hello PLATO is looking for teachers to participate in an incentivized pilot. So if you’re reading this blog post as soon as it goes live, you might be finished up with the traditional school year. But if you are planning ahead for fall or working in a summer school environment now, this is certainly the perfect time to apply for their pilot.

How does the pilot work? Once you add your information to the pilot form, the team at Hello PLATO will reach out to you and share more details about getting started with this powerful platform. In addition, participants in the pilot are asked to provide detailed feedback on their experience to help shape the development of the tool. Anyone who participates will receive an Amazon gift card in return.

Any teacher can use Hello PLATO right now, whether you participate in the pilot or not. All you have to do is head to their website and click Login. There is a Create Account link below the login, and you can start right away.
