Dyknow’s Device Impact Measurement Summit

Do you have plans for April 9th? Next month I’m joining the team at Dyknow for a rapid-fire event and conversation around technology integration. This time last year, I had the chance to keynote their spring Technology Coaching Conference event, so when they reached out about their upcoming 2021 event, I couldn’t wait to be a part of it.

What can you expect at the Device Impact Measurement Summit? In this blog post, I’ve included the official description for the upcoming event. And at the bottom of the blog post, you’ll also find more details on device impact measurement and what it might mean for your school and district. This virtual event is totally free! If you aren’t sure if you can join us live, don’t worry. Just make sure to register below to get full access to the recording after the event.

Device Impact Measurement Summit

During the April 9th event, you’ll hear about the importance of measuring the impact of devices and technology on instruction. There will be a focus on the implications of incomplete usage data and a chance to ask questions about this topic.

Here’s the official description of the Device Impact Measurement Summit, taking place on Friday, April 9th from 12:00 – 12:30 pm EST:

This 30-minute event will be a discussion between Dyknow’s Team and Dr. Monica Burns, talking about the implications of school-issued devices, the importance of measuring device impact, and the risks of incomplete measurement. Dyknow’s team will also be sharing a newly released module, Device Impact Measurement, which helps Administrators and Tech Coaches get complete device usage data to identify budget opportunities, reduce wasted funds, and drive technology training.

What to Expect:

  • Discussion between Dyknow and Dr. Monica Burns
  • Introduction to Dyknow’s new Device Impact Measurement product offering
  • Live Q&A between attendees, Dyknow’s Team, and Dr. Monica Burns

Access to the live event will only be made available to those who register. But, if you can’t attend the live event, the team at Dyknow will send you the recording afterward.

What does device measurement mean?

We know that implementations of school-issued device programs, including one-to-one device programs, have significantly increased this past year. With this change, you might have colleagues who lack confidence in integrating digital tools into their instruction. Anytime a large initiative is underway, measuring impact and effectiveness certainly presents a challenge. If administrators and tech coaches want to measure how devices and technology are actually being used in classroom settings, Dyknow can help too.

Although you’ll hear more about Dyknow and device management strategies at this event, here is a quick overview. Regular readers of the blog might remember this post, where I shared the different ways Dyknow supports educators. Dyknow is a monitoring solution for school-issued devices and supporting areas like classroom management. Their platform enables teachers to address distractions and increase student engagement — and they have a great podcast, too!

What does Device Impact Measurement look like in action?

  • Automatically collects usage data from school-issued devices
  • Organizes device, app, and website activity into a single dashboard
  • Delivers essential metrics at a glance
  • Enables on-demand access and data export

This year, Dyknow is adding to its monitoring capabilities with the new Device Impact Measurement module. This new feature lets administrators and tech coaches get complete device usage data. With this information, you can better understand how devices are actually being used, identify budget opportunities, and also reduce wasted funds.

I hope you’ll join us for this special event on April 9th, where we’ll explore this topic together! Will we see you there? Grab your free ticket to the event right here, and if you can’t make it live on April 9th anyone who registers will also receive a recording of the event!
