WriteReader K-5 Early Literacy Tool for Authoring Books

WriteReader is an ELA and ELL early literacy tool that focuses on supporting elementary school students. With WriteReader kids can author books while learning how to read and write thanks to the phonics support built into this tool — designed to support early literacy development. The idea behind WriteReader is to give kids the opportunity to learn through creation and through their own interests.

Classroom management is easy with WriteReader where teachers can have the full overview of the students in their class. This makes is simple to provide feedback to students and share their books with parents and families. WriteReader lets students read other classmates books to explore their stories too. It’s a research-based tool being used in classrooms around the world. WriteReader is a web-based tool that students can use on  Chromebooks and there is also an iPad app available to download for students using tablets.
