This edWebinar will provide an overview of differentiated instruction and strategies you can tailor for your own classroom. You’ll hear real classroom stories from Dr. Burns’ time as a classroom teacher as well as her work with teachers and students across the country. The goal of this presentation is to leave you with actionable ideas that are scaleable for different grade levels and customizable for different classrooms.

Dr. Burns will share best practices for differentiated instruction so teachers at any grade level can use both with low-tech and high-tech classrooms. This session will share strategies for gauging student interest so texts can be tailored to areas they are passionate about, and tips for using high-interest reading materials. Dr. Burns can’t wait to share “ready-for-tomorrow” ideas to bring back to your classroom!
