Recently I shared some of my favorite apps for the writing process and here’s another to add to the list. MindNote is a mind mapping app for iPads that lets users organize their ideas. It can be used for a variety of tasks including character mapping, story brainstorming, and study support. You might have students color code their outline to match a specific task. Or you could also give students the freedom to organize their thinking as they conduct research or respond to a prompt.
