Thinksy Math App for Kids

  • May 20, 2015
This post is sponsored by Thinksy. All opinions are my own.

Parents play an important role in successful learning. Educational technology can help support students and their families after school hours. The Thinksy app creates an environment where families learn and play together with a math app for kids. The designs for Thinksy games come from a partnership with dozens of independent game developers. It covers hundreds of K-3 Common Core learning objectives for math.

Math App for Kids

Math App for KidsWhile children are engaged, parents are given unique tools that monitor progress, adjust learning and deliver unique rewards. Parents can encourage their child with a unique message, emoticon or reward from inside the game. With Thinksy, parents become a part of the learning process from anywhere.  Additionally, each player’s learning progress adapts automatically and syncs between PC, iOS, and Android devices.  Thinksy’s parent engagement tools launch later this month, with subscriptions starting at $7.50/month for iOS or Android.

When might you use a math app with students? This app would be a great recommendation for a family newsletter where you share apps for families to explore. You might incorporate this app into a station rotation too.
