simpleshow Video Maker & MS Teams App

This post is in partnership with simpleshow. All opinions are my own.

Are you looking for a simple video maker for your students? If you are using Microsoft Teams, you’ll definitely want to explore simpleshow and their new integration for the MS Teams app! Regular readers of the blog might remember that I’ve featured simpleshow in the past. In today’s blog post, we’ll dive into the new update and this special integration with MS Teams.

Thanks to simpleshow’s free classroom plans for educators, MS Teams users can now easily integrate simpleshow video maker into their everyday instruction. There are collaborative learning opportunities with the video maker app and MS Teams users can get started with their explainer video tool right away!

Let’s take a look at the MS Teams integration and why you might want to start using explainer videos this school year.

Explainer Video Maker

An explainer video shares a new idea or concept or helps students review something they’ve already learned. Teachers can make explainer videos to teach or review a concept, and students can create explainer videos, too. When students take on the “creator” role, they can make a video that shows off what they learned. And that video is one they can share with an audience, too.

Are you looking for a simple video maker for your students? If you are using Microsoft Teams, try simpleshow and their new integration.

Why would teachers make an explainer video?

  • To introduce a new unit of study
  • When sharing a new concept with students
  • As a way to kick off a new lesson
  • To help students get excited about a new topic
  • When they want to breakdown a big idea into chunks

Why would students make an explainer video?

  • To summarize what they’ve learned
  • When working with a partner to synthesize information
  • As a culminating, collaborative project
  • To share the steps they took to solve a problem
  • When they want to share their learning with the world
