Gift Ideas for Teachers: Chromebook Classroom Gift Guide

This year I’ve worked with lots of schools across the country where they’re using Chromebooks to give students a space to document their learning. From activities like book trailers with Spark Video to introducing formative assessment routines with Nearpod, this technology is powerful when thoughtfully integrated into instruction.

Are you looking for a gift for a Chromebook teacher? I’ve put together a list with a handful of favorites including useful gift ideas for teachers using Chromebooks. Although this post is a Chromebook classroom gift guide, you’re sure to gather ideas for other educators and Google enthusiasts!

The official Google Cardboard from Google is a great gift choice for teachers who are ready to take their love for Google tools to the next level. It provides step-by-step guides for using Google tools in the classroom, including plenty of screenshots and classroom examples. This is a great gift for teachers just get starting with Chromebooks or those looking to step up their game to the next level.

Composition Notebook Cover

Although there are lots of different covers for Chromebooks I love this one from the folks at MightySkins. It looks just like a black and white composition notebook and definitely takes a playful spin on some of the other stickers and covers you might find in your search. This would be a great gift for teachers who are searching for the perfect balance between traditional and digital.

Google for Education Certified Innovator Kyle Pace recommended this awesome addition to the list. Perfect for a class gift, the Pixelbook Pen works with Google Assistant on a Pixelbook. This gift is perfect for a teacher who uses this tablet with Google Apps for Education.

If students are recording their voice to tell a story or creating a movie to document their learning, these headphones will come in handy. A 10-pack or two of headphones could be a good choice for a class gift for teachers using Chromebooks in their classroom.
