Tiggly Shape’s Got Talent: Geometry App for Early Learners

Tiggly is a Class Tech Tips favorite! I’m excited to share another terrific app you can use with Tiggly Shapes! The Tiggly Shape’s Got Talent is a fantastic geometry app that takes a playful spin on learning early geometry concepts. With this iPad app students can read, play, and also record their own stories. Kids will practice shape identification and learn shape properties as they create their very own talent show.

It helps children learn about shapes and develop their spatial thinking skills. The story and mini-games in Tiggly Shape’s Got Talentwere designed by Professor Herbert Ginsburg from Columbia University’s Teachers College and edited by Emmy-award winning writer Jill Turner.

The Playground area of this app lets children play with the characters. They can also dress them up with various fun costumes, decorate the scene and record their own stories. Students can even read the original story with their customized characters.
