Learn About Emotions with Peppy Pals

Last year I shared Peppy Pals, an app that helps children develop emotional intelligence.  The folks behind Peppy Pals have just released a fourth app on iOS –  Peppy Pals Reggy’s Play Date to help children learn about emotions. This an open-ended game features Reggy the dog and focuses more on different emotions and empathy. It is designed for children ages 4-8 and contains no language, in-app purchases or score stress.

Learn About Emotions

Learn About Emotions with Open-Ended Peppy Pals Reggy's PlaydateIf you remember the Tamagotchi toy popular two decades ago, Peppy Pals Reggy’s Play Date also works to help children understand how to care for a pet. For example, if you don’t give the ball to Reggy, it can get sad and the more pressure you apply while petting the dog the more hearts you get and the happier Reggy feels.

Peppy Pals Reggy’s Play Date is an open-ended app so there is no winning or losing. If you’re looking for additional resources, check out Peppy Talks for adults to learn how to talk to children about emotional intelligence.
