Earlier this month Houghton Mifflin Harcourt launched HMH Marketplace, an online destination for educators to discover, share and sell resources. To mark the launch and encourage innovation amongst educators, the company is hosting Curious Classroom, an online contest for teachers. The contest spotlights effective and original resources that have fostered curiosity in the classroom. They work to connect Edtech Startups and educators.

To enter, educators can submit a short, simple video showcasing their resource and its impact in the classroom. HMH is looking for original and inspirational resources that are available digitally – this could also include a lesson plan, game or quiz.
The contest runs throughout October, with public voting in November. Winning entries will receive technology and resources, including Google Chromebooks, SMART Boards and HMH content, as well as the opportunity to be featured in the HMH Marketplace beta program, when it goes public in early 2016.
