Edynco is an online tool for creating learning maps. A learning map is a version of a mind map specially for teachers and students. Learning maps can include several elements (called nodes) including: title, instruction/summary and an attached resource, which can be a website, quiz, video, audio, PDF, image or document. Nodes are on an endless canvas and connect to each other with branches that help visualize a learning path to follow.

Teachers use can this tool for lesson planning or for creating interactive lessons. These lessons can also be shared with students as a pre-class activity in a blended learning setting. Teachers can also use a learning map as an assignment where students can create their own learning map about a specific topic individually or collaboratively as a group. Learning maps also employ a variety of cognitive skills: remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, creating and evaluating.
