Shadow Puppet is iOS 8 Compatible!

Shadow Puppet is one of my favorite digital storytelling apps and they have big news related to the launch of iOS 8.  Their iPad app, Shadow Puppet Edu is now compatible with iOS 8, iPhone 6, and 6 Plus.  They’ve added a few new iOS 8 specific features like the ability to save to iCloud Drive and photo browsing that mirrors the Photos app.

maps-ipad-recording-700pxShadow Puppet EDU has lots of educational features that you’ll want to check out.  The Map Search option lets kids search for and clip images from maps and satellite images to use in their videos.   Users can also add images from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The British Library, Wikimedia Commons, and OpenClipart without leaving the app.  This easy image search makes video creation simple for students of all ages – there is even automatic image citation that happens at the end of each video.
